When you are having trouble with your car or truck starting and you open the hood up to take a peek and see this....you'll discover what an overly corroded battery looks like. This happens naturally over time on vehicle battery terminals. If you are like 99% of normal drivers, you don't check your oil or your battery so you don't keep an eye on the amount of corrosion that's building up on your car or truck battery. Here at Cowden's Automotive & Exhaust, we do and there are solvents that we can use here in the shop during a battery maintenance service that will help slow the corrosion process but nothing that can prevent it 100%. Way before it gets to this point, we will be suggesting you consider replacing the battery.

Here at Cowden's Automotive & Exhaust in Buhl we often do diagnostics and sometimes the problem is obvious after hooking the car up to the computer and reading the codes. However, sometimes it isn't obvious during a test drive or after hooking it up to all those computer programs! Jasper Engines and Transmissions is proud to announce their expanded availability of the remanufactured Ford 6R140 RWD and 4WD transmissions. These 6-speed transmissions are electronically-controlled and are available for a variety of vehicles. This expanded transmission line is available for the 2015-2019 6R140 F250, F350 6.2L, and F350 6.7L (RWD & 4WD).

This expanded transmission line is now available for the 2013-2017 Enclave, Acadia, Traverse (3.6L FWD & AWD), Terrain, and Equinox (3.6L FWD); 2013 Equinox (3.6L AWD); 2013-2014 Terrain (3.6L AWD); 2013-2015 SRX (3.6L AWD), 2013-2016 XTS (3.6L FWD) and the 2014-2016 Impalas and Lacrosse (3.6L FWD).
